Zachary focuses on operational finance and portfolio analytics as a key member of the finance team. He maintains and creates financial controls, provides insights to management by researching and analyzing financial data, and evaluates portfolio company metrics. Prior to joining Comcast Ventures, Zachary was in Comcast’s CORE Finance program, a two-year rotational program. During the program, he rotated with Comcast Cable’s West Division Strategic FP&A team in Denver and NBCUniversal’s Global Advertising Strategy and Corporate Strategy & Development teams in New York. Zachary holds a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in Financial Economics, magna cum laude. In his free time, Zachary enjoys playing golf, watching sports with friends, and trying new restaurants.
Michelle is a Partner at Comcast Ventures. Prior to joining CV, Michelle was Vice President at Bloom8 where she led investments in food- and agtech solutions accelerating the world’s $9T food ecosystem transformation. Michelle was also previously an investor at Group 11 where she was responsible for evaluating high-growth fintech and enterprise SaaS businesses, portfolio management, and facilitated fundraising efforts. Before that, Michelle was on the investment team at Avante Capital Partners where she assisted in underwriting middle-market debt and equity investments. Earlier in her career, Michelle worked for two Los Angeles Mayors, Eric Garcetti and Antonio Villaraigosa, executing economic development policy.
Michelle is a graduate of the USC Marshall School of Business where she received an MBA, and the University of Southern California where she received a BA, summa cum laude, in Political Science. In her free time, Michelle loves being in the ocean, hiking with her Irish Red and White Setter Enzo, and practicing hot yoga.
Shivani is an Associate on the investing team at Comcast Ventures. Before joining Comcast Ventures, Shivani worked in Corporate Strategy and Business Development at Warner Bros. Entertainment. At Warner Bros., Shivani executed strategic investments, developed go-to-market strategies for growth initiatives, led M&A transactions, and incubated new businesses. Shivani also spent two years at Credit Suisse as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare group. She provided strategic and financial advice on prospective M&A and financing opportunities to clients across all healthcare verticals. Shivani received a B.S. in Finance and Management from NYU Stern School of Business. In her free time, Shivani loves to attend dance workshops and explore new restaurants in NYC.
Marc Silberman is a Partner at Comcast Ventures. Prior to CV, Marc led Corporate Development at FirstMark Capital, where he partnered with the firm's portfolio companies to drive top-line growth and accelerate go-to-market initiatives. He has nearly a decade of experience both operating and investing in high-growth technology businesses. On the operating side, Marc has held roles spanning growth strategy, operations, and finance at several New York-based technology companies, including CLEAR (NYSE: YOU), a biometric technology platform, and BuzzFeed (NASDAQ: BZFD), the global news and entertainment company. He was also previously a venture investor at Time Warner Investments, a media-focused corporate venture capital fund. Marc holds a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University with a double major in Applied Economics & Management and Communication. He currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Department of Communication at Cornell University and is a Board Trustee of the New Heights Academy Charter School.
Ryan is a Principal on the investing team at Comcast Ventures focusing on the future of work, climate technologies, fintech, and healthcare technology. He spends most of his time identifying and meeting with the exceptional teams that Comcast Ventures backs and helps those portfolio companies with ongoing fundraising. Before joining Comcast Ventures, Ryan was an investor at Advantage Capital, a multi-strategy impact investment firm focused on economic development in underserved communities. At Advantage Capital, Ryan helped co-found the sourcing team and sourced or worked on the firm’s investments in MedRhythms, mTrade, Hudl, and Pacha Soap amongst others. He also co-led the firm’s thesis development, structure, and fundraise of a $200 million investment fund supporting racial equity. Ryan received a M.S. in International Management and B.S. in International Business in East Asian Studies from Northeastern University. Outside of the office, you’ll find him cycling around the city, hunting for hidden food gems, or rock climbing.
Jenna is the Executive Assistant for Kim Armor, Andrew Cleland, Allison Goldberg, and Arjun Kapur (Forecast Labs) and Office Manager for Comcast Ventures. She strives to curate a comfortable and efficient working environment for the CV team. Prior to joining CV, Jenna worked at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, most recently as Program Coordinator for the O’Neill’s National Theater Institute. Jenna received a B.A. in Drama from Vassar College, where she also minored in History, studied classical singing, and worked in anti-violence prevention. Jenna continues to work as a director/ dramaturg, collaborating with writers to develop their dramatic texts. Outside of work she reads voraciously, practices yoga, and cooks large vegetarian meals for her friends.
A respected senior executive, leader, and board member, Allison is a strong investor and strategist with a track record of creating strategic value and driving financial returns. Allison’s diverse career in finance, media and digital has proven her ability to add value to both large public companies as well as startups.
Prior to joining Comcast Ventures as Managing Partner, she was a Partner at VC fund Saints Capital Media Ventures, a buyout of her strategic venture portfolio from Time Warner, and a Venture Partner at Touchdown Ventures. Prior to that, she was a Partner at Advancit Capital, focusing on early-stage investments in consumer and media technology companies. She previously served as Group Managing Director & Senior Vice President of Time Warner Investments, where she ran the group focused on investing up to $25MM in private companies to generate both strategic value and financial returns for Time Warner Inc. Allison received a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Amy is Comcast Ventures' Event Coordinator, working closely with stakeholders and vendors to execute impactful events across the country. She designs activities to inspire attendees to learn and engage with team members, as Comcast Ventures builds its network of innovators and investors across diverse sectors. Whether it's movie screenings, industry dinners, or large scale meetings, Amy manages logistics, contracts, and contact lists while curating memorable not-to-be-missed moments for our growing community.
Sheena is a Partner at Comcast Ventures focusing on consumer investing, with particular interest in proptech, healthcare and fintech. Prior to joining the team at CV, Sheena led Strategy and Operations for apparel at an e-commerce and fulfillment platform, Symphony Commerce. Prior to Symphony, Sheena was in the Corporate Strategy Group at Hudson’s Bay Company/Saks Fifth Avenue, driving the future of omni-channel commerce. She started her career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) advising clients in the financial services, retail and insurance sector. While in business school, Sheena worked at Bessemer and spent her summer at Google focused on strategy for emerging products. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Economics and M.B.A from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Chandler focuses on operational accounting and portfolio reporting as a key member of the finance team. Prior to Comcast Ventures, Chandler worked at EVO Payments, specializing in streamlining and automating financial processes for subsidiaries both domestic and international. Chandler helps maintain and create financial controls, provides integral information to management by researching and analyzing financial data and helps evaluate portfolio company statistics. Chandler graduated with a B.S. in accounting from Stony Brook University.
Madura leads strategic partnerships to drive value between our portfolio companies and business units of Comcast Corporation and outside companies. He helps structure new commercial partnerships that leverage Comcast Cable, NBCUniversal and Sky’s platforms and reach to provide more than capital to our portfolio companies. Prior to joining us, Madura led broadband market analysis at Comcast Corporation, which supported corporate regulatory and competitive strategies and M&A. He also led partnerships with external thought-leader influencers to drive strategic goals. Earlier in his career, he worked in demographic data analysis and structured and negotiated telecom, technology and media transactions in the Asia-Pacific for multinationals. Madura holds a master’s degree from the University of Chicago focusing on quantitative analysis and a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Sydney, Australia.
Adam Spivack is a Partner at Comcast Ventures exploring innovation in AI, Data, the Future of Work, and Enterprise software. Prior to joining CV, he led the advertising trading group for FreeWheel Media, a company acquired by Comcast in 2014. There, he developed a global trading desk and advertising exchange between the world’s largest media companies and agencies. He started his career as a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting, gaining expertise in data management, mobile payments, and enterprise software. Adam graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Public Policy with a certificate in Markets & Management.
Derek oversees all legal activities at Comcast Ventures. He brings over 20 years of legal expertise to his leadership role which includes structuring and negotiating new investments and exit transactions. Derek also advises the investing team on legal issues relating to their portfolio companies. Derek is well-positioned in corporate venture as he also serves as Vice President and Senior Deputy General Counsel of Comcast Corporation, responsible for acquisitions, investments, joint ventures and other corporate transactions by Comcast, NBCUniversal, Sky, and their various subsidiaries. Derek graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Government from Dartmouth College and received his J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Kyle leads the day-to-day finance and operations for Comcast Ventures, reporting to the CFO. He oversees portfolio reporting and operational accounting including the marketing / communications and office management functions. He began his career in public accounting before joining the Comcast Corporate Reporting team, where he completed high-level financial statement analysis and consolidated financial reporting. Kyle graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a B.S. in Accounting.
Chris applies his wide range of legal experience to help our portfolio companies and fund on legal matters relating to new portfolio investments, existing portfolio company activities, and legal due diligence. At the global law firm of DLA Piper LLP, he advised startups and emerging growth companies, venture capital funds, and private equity funds in venture financings and M&A transactions. Early in his career, he served as a U.S. District Court Law Clerk in Massachusetts. Chris graduated with a B.S. in Finance from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Andrew brings an analytical mindset and deep vertical expertise to his companies, focusing on data, machine learning, and the future of work. He sits on the boards of Enigma, FanDuel, Heleo, Hive, Juganu, Lytics, SundaySky, and Treno, and led CV’s investment in FortressIQ, Interactions, Osaro, and Paramount Data. He came to Comcast Ventures from Time Warner Investments, where he focused on early-stage media and technology companies. Running nightclubs while in college, Andrew started his formal career in Booz Allen & Hamilton’s media practice, and was then COO of a music startup in London called TrustTheDJ. He has a Master’s degree in Economics from Edinburgh University and received his MBA from INSEAD in France.
Kim is the CFO and Managing Director at Comcast Ventures. She leads finance and strategic partnerships for the venture investing arm of Comcast NBCUniversal. She also overseas operations and administration, managing the growth of Comcast Ventures’ presence in Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Kim serves as a board member for portfolio companies including SheKnows, SnagFilms, and CTI Towers. Prior to joining Comcast Ventures, she was the CFO and SVP of Business Development for VERSUS, where she grew all business metrics, positioning the company for a merger with NBC Sports. She held leadership positions at Disney, ESPN, and ABC and worked for KPMG in its audit practice. Kim graduated from Penn State and received her MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
